Back to Reality.

FORTUNE COOKIES.

Tasty? Maybe to you. I feel like they are a little bit on the plain side.
Everyone has their own strategy on the process of opening and eating their fortune cookie. Personally, I break the cookie, take the fortune out, read it, if its a good fortune then I eat it, if not I toss it. There are probably tons of different ways people go about this process. Moving on to the actual fortune. Who makes these fortunes? How do they come up with them? I again personally imagine a creepy old woman with a cat on her lap eating cheese from a tooth pic in a small cluttered room. Yea that has gotta be the one who makes these fortunes. I wonder what percent of fortunes are good and what percent are not. ALSO, the only thing worse than a bad fortune is a fortune that isn't a fortune. Have you ever gotten one of those? Its the worst!! Example:"You never hesitate to tackle the most difficult problems" What is this? We don't eat fortune cookies to learn fun facts about ourselves! Overall I would like to conclude that fortune cookies suck.

As for the title of this blog... Spring Break was absolutely amazing, but now it is back to reality. Above is a little taste of all the fun I've been having. :D

Wow. Its been approximately eight years. Life has been so GREAT yet so busy. Last time I wrote, I mentioned my plan for my three greatest companions. I've been thinking about this for soo long now, and it is finally time to blog it. Here we go.
1. Ipod: My Ipod is a big part of my life. It has been there for me in so many different instances. Whenever I feel mad, sad, happy, or glad, my ipod is there. It can lift me up from the lowest of lows, and take me to the highest of highs. I've always said that I don't have just one bestest friend, but I would definitely go as far to say that my ipod is the that one. Weather my ipod feels the same about me, I guess we will never know?
2. Blankey: AKA a blanket that I received at birth. Not that I am as attached to my blanket as I was in my earlier years, but it is a great companion. Anything that has been with you every night of your entire life, is definitely worth mentioning as a top non human companion.
3. Rockie: They say that dogs are a mans best friend. I disagree. Rockie is my cat of eight years. Now I am not much of animal person, but he is the best. I don't have much to say about this one :)

Non-human companions. Weird thing to think about.

Well, its Spring Break. I am expecting to have a blast. Hopefully that will lead into some great blogs.

Well this past weekend was absolutely amazing. I fell in love with Santa Cruz. Sweet place. Anyways, I don't have much to say but I wanted to write this down before I forget. As far as blogging goes...this week I will be "honoring" my three closest non human companions. Sounds kind of weird, but when would we ever take the time to appreciate these friends? I am very excited about this. Here is a small little gift from me to you..

This my friends is one of my favs, Ernie. He is very talented and not to mention hilarious. Enjoy <3 Riles

Wow Can I Get More Random?

According the dictionary, and the website of all time... wikipedia...Marriage is a social spiritual or legal union of individuals. Really?
Lately I have been having some deep thoughts on marriage. Kind of weird I know. But marriage is a weird thing. Think about it. When you get married, everything changes. Your world is flipped upside down. It isn't you anymore its we. You now have a whole new person to take care for hopefully as much as you care for yourself. That's not even the hardest part. What I can't wrap my head around is spending the rest of my life on Earth with one person. Think about how much time that is! I cant even stand spending a few minutes with some people. I guess that is the beauty of love. I cannot wait for the time when I can love a person so much that I want to spend the rest of my life with them. But one thing, who will this person be? Do I know them? Are we friends? Acquaintances? Have I known them for years? Months? Weeks? Or have we not met? And if so, when will we meet? Will I know that that is the person I will spend the rest of my life with?
Just some thoughts. Goodnight.

P.S. I just re read this, and this is by far the gayest blog I've ever written. So romantical. So sentimental. That definitely isn't like me. What's going on??

one is silver and the others gold

Hellooo!
I write to you tonight in order to let you know that sometimes, we have to drop what is important and just have a little fun. Now I don't recommend to do this often, but every once in a while it works good. Life is stressful. What can we do? This past weekend I had a lot on my mind. By a lot I mean polo and school... what's new? Instead of spending hours on tedious homework, or pumping some iron in the gym like I should have done, I decided just to drop everything and have a grand time. And I did. And I enjoyed it. Of course now that it is Sunday night and I haven't accomplished anything, I am a walking ball of stress. Oh well. I guess it will all unfold in the morning. Things have a funny way of working themselves out.
Much love,
Riles
