Remember Me?

Why hello there!! AH. I need to get back into the blogging routine. I was thinking about making my blog into a themed sort of deal. It would definitely give me more things to write about and be much more fun than writing about my uninteresting thoughts. One of my ideas is sort of like a restaurant critique. Another idea, would for me to write about undiscovered slash upcoming slash regular old music artists. Maybe a discussion of fun youtube videos? Man, I need some help. For now I shall ponder these ideas. Until then, have some fun.

"Good Times and Good People"

Why hello there!
I know that it's been a while since my last blog, but life has just been so super busy! Let me catch you up on the "Life of Riley".
After an amazingly fun game a against Santa Cruz two weekends ago, I drove down to the lovely Visailia to hang out with some of my family and closest friends. My time there was short... and by short i mean two hours... but it was worth it. My brother then stayed with me all of Easter weekend and some more. Easter day was absolutely amazing, and was also the day that began the Monterey sun streak. Absolutely gorgeous! Last week was busy, my family came to visit, I had tons of school work, and of course water polo. It was awesome to see the fam bam again!! ALSO my family took most of my belongings home with them so my room is super empty :(. Last weekend my dear friend Isabell came up to see me, and it was such a blessing to spend time with her! We had a blasty blast, and it made me super excited for summer. SUNDAY... my most favorite day spent at Monterey this year..."Good times and good people". Busy but worth it has been the theme of my last couple weeks.
Water polo champs this weekend. Im pumped. Excited. Ready. Can't wait.
Starting Monday, my life will drastically slow down. Slower life leads to more blogs. Get excited. I've been thinking a lot during my break from blogging
Its been real.

Back to Reality.

FORTUNE COOKIES.

Tasty? Maybe to you. I feel like they are a little bit on the plain side.
Everyone has their own strategy on the process of opening and eating their fortune cookie. Personally, I break the cookie, take the fortune out, read it, if its a good fortune then I eat it, if not I toss it. There are probably tons of different ways people go about this process. Moving on to the actual fortune. Who makes these fortunes? How do they come up with them? I again personally imagine a creepy old woman with a cat on her lap eating cheese from a tooth pic in a small cluttered room. Yea that has gotta be the one who makes these fortunes. I wonder what percent of fortunes are good and what percent are not. ALSO, the only thing worse than a bad fortune is a fortune that isn't a fortune. Have you ever gotten one of those? Its the worst!! Example:"You never hesitate to tackle the most difficult problems" What is this? We don't eat fortune cookies to learn fun facts about ourselves! Overall I would like to conclude that fortune cookies suck.

As for the title of this blog... Spring Break was absolutely amazing, but now it is back to reality. Above is a little taste of all the fun I've been having. :D

Wow. Its been approximately eight years. Life has been so GREAT yet so busy. Last time I wrote, I mentioned my plan for my three greatest companions. I've been thinking about this for soo long now, and it is finally time to blog it. Here we go.
1. Ipod: My Ipod is a big part of my life. It has been there for me in so many different instances. Whenever I feel mad, sad, happy, or glad, my ipod is there. It can lift me up from the lowest of lows, and take me to the highest of highs. I've always said that I don't have just one bestest friend, but I would definitely go as far to say that my ipod is the that one. Weather my ipod feels the same about me, I guess we will never know?
2. Blankey: AKA a blanket that I received at birth. Not that I am as attached to my blanket as I was in my earlier years, but it is a great companion. Anything that has been with you every night of your entire life, is definitely worth mentioning as a top non human companion.
3. Rockie: They say that dogs are a mans best friend. I disagree. Rockie is my cat of eight years. Now I am not much of animal person, but he is the best. I don't have much to say about this one :)

Non-human companions. Weird thing to think about.

Well, its Spring Break. I am expecting to have a blast. Hopefully that will lead into some great blogs.

Well this past weekend was absolutely amazing. I fell in love with Santa Cruz. Sweet place. Anyways, I don't have much to say but I wanted to write this down before I forget. As far as blogging goes...this week I will be "honoring" my three closest non human companions. Sounds kind of weird, but when would we ever take the time to appreciate these friends? I am very excited about this. Here is a small little gift from me to you..

This my friends is one of my favs, Ernie. He is very talented and not to mention hilarious. Enjoy <3 Riles
