Happy Hump Day

What up all my divas and hustlas? Today I had a little bit of down time in between all of the business of this week so I hit the OE and grabbed some lunch to go. I stood in line for a little bit and then made a decision that was a quite out of the ordinary for myself. I decided that I wanted to go eat in the DC alone. At first I was a little bit weary stepping into this new situation. What if someone I knew saw me sitting alone? Would people think I'm just your typical loser with no friends? When I grabbed my small table that was meant for two, I felt pretty lame. As the time went on, I became more and more comfortable. Honestly, I had a splendid time with me myself and I, and can't wait for my second date. Many of us spend alone time in our bedroom, on the toilet, or driving around town, but do we ever treat ourselves to a fancy dinner and movie? It's important to be kind and get to know ourselves, because if we don't then who will? This week I challenge you to spend sometime all by yourself. I guarantee you will find the results satisfying.
Have fun!

Ima Ima A Diva

I'm trying not to make my blogs boring by telling you guys about my day and stuff but, I feel like I haven't shared any of that so far so here it goes. Life is busy. I don't know if I am ready to take on what this week has in store for me, but I am excited about it none the less. Monday was typical with classes and polo from 630am til 8pm. My classes are all very enjoyable, and so far so good. Today while sharing a meal with two of my new favorite people, the topic of the future came up... thats where this blog is headed haha. How scary is the unkown? For me it is one of those things that makes me want to pee my pants but at the same time brings tons of excitement. Not knowing what will happen next is a part of life. I guess we just have to be prepared to take on whatever is thrown at us.I know that I am incredibly young, and haven't even began to see what life has in store for me. I could go on forever about this because its a pretty fascinating subject but... I won't. The picture above is a tent that has been put in the ver MIDDLE of the pool parking lot. I have not the slightest clue why it is there but maybe I will find out someday... maybe not.

How much bank is Lil Wayne makin?

When choosing what to listen to, I typically search for a song that perfectly describes my current mood. Sometimes I wake up knowing exactly what my song of the day is, and other days it takes some time. I often put my ipod on shuffle and click next until I find a song that fits. For some odd reason today nothing was clicking. Nothing sounded good. Nothing popped out at me. I probably listened to over 200 songs today, in search of a song that I would connect with. I tried songs that should have given me energy, songs that should have mad me mad or sad, songs that typically make me feel soo hood, songs that can make me miss things, songs that spark ideas, the list goes on and on, but I couldn't find it. Oh well. "They say music can alter moods and talk to you"-Marshall Bruce Mathers III... what do you think?
Goodnight.

P.S. I am working on a blog about this lady who leaves her baby in the hot heat and rain while she works out. Wait for it. Be excited. :D

Waddup rain 3 days in a row.

Hi there

SO here is the scoop. For about a month now I have been tellin you all to eat up on your bananas because they are going extinct. Most of you told me to shut up and prove it and welp here you are my friends. This is my "presntation"

OK A long time ago we ate these bananas called Gros Michel. They were way sweeter than the ones we have now but anywhoo.. the 1960's came along and "Panama disease" attacked my yellow friends. Well, we got to work and created this hardcore banana called the Cavendash... thats the one we eat today. For a while this new banana was immune to Panama disease BUT not anymore. Apparently, this disease is super duper easily spread and could wipe out every single banana within ten years. YIKES!

A global effort has kicked in to save my favorite fruit but... I suggest you EAT UP!

Thats all for now. Keep it real.

-Riles

P.S. I would like to thank my friends at popsci.com and coolaggregator.com for helpin me out with this one.

Welcome :D

Hello all!
Well this is day one of "blogging". So far so good. Hopefully this will be popin by tomorrow...pictures, videos, stories about my rediculous daily adventures, and all of that shinanigans. As for tonight, I am off to rest up for a bangin' work out in the morning. Goodnight, and like my main man Billy B says, "I am bringing classy back". Peace.
